A LITTLE HELP. A CLEARER WAY.
Let’s make things clear.
Questions, a bug, or an idea? We’re a message away.
A good place to start.
Getting started
Choose two text files, or start a blank comparison and paste your text. Click a file title or drag a file onto it to replace that side.
File limits and formats
Requires macOS 15.0 or later. Import supports text files up to 10 MiB and 20,000 lines each. Binary files and undecodable content cannot be opened. Original encoding, BOM and mixed line endings are preserved on save.
Saving and external changes
Command-S saves the last focused pane. Shift-Command-S opens Save As. If another app has changed the file, choose reload, save a copy, or explicitly overwrite after checking the contents. Reloading replaces the current text.
Recovering unsaved work
After about one second without edits, a local recovery draft is saved. Look for recovery drafts on the home screen after restarting. If a draft save fails, save manually. Unwritten changes may be lost on sudden power failure.
Reporting a problem
Include your Diflo version, macOS version, the steps to reproduce, expected behavior and a screenshot if helpful. Use a small anonymized example instead of a confidential document.
